The 2025-2026 fall-winter Paris Fashion Week, held from March 3-11 at Palais de Tokyo, featured a variety of global fashion brands, with several K-fashion labels taking center stage.

As one of the four major fashion weeks worldwide, Paris is renowned for its avant-garde and artistic presentations. This season, Korean designers made a bold statement with their innovative designs.

On the first day of the event, Kimhekim, the brand of Korean designer Kim In-tae, celebrated its 9th anniversary with a collection that skillfully combined tailoring with Korean influences. The “L’atelier Kimhekim” collection stood out with elegant draping, pearl embellishments, and mesh materials, creating graceful and flowing silhouettes. Since its debut in 2014, Kimhekim has been known for its daring experimentation, blending traditional Korean attire with modern aesthetics. This season, the brand delivered a mix of playful and refined looks, featuring soft drapery and sleek lines that resonated with a global audience.

The next day, designer Park Chun-moo’s brand, De Moo, revealed its “From Nothing” collection. Centered on the brand’s signature black-and-white colors, the collection played with contrasting bold tones. De Moo’s minimalist approach was enhanced by textures like wool, jacquard, cupra, and metallic fabrics, merging traditional and contemporary influences to create a unique sensory experience. Park emphasized that this collection extended the brand’s identity and reaffirmed De Moo’s commitment to its core values within the contemporary fashion landscape.

As K-fashion continues to evolve, Korean designers are incorporating new technologies to produce experimental and fresh designs. Despite lacking the long histories and heritage of European labels, Korean fashion brands are quickly adapting to consumer demands and setting global trends.

“A new generation is emerging, blending colors and details with such precision that they create styles even more original than the originals. This movement is gaining widespread attention and inspiring global markets to embrace K-style, with K-pop idols and K-drama stars amplifying its influence,” said an official from the Korea Creative Content Agency who attended the event.

Korean celebrities also made an impact at Paris Fashion Week. Blackpink’s Rosé, the global ambassador for Saint Laurent, wowed audiences with her presence in a long white sleeveless dress at the brand’s show. Meanwhile, Ive’s Jang Won-young showcased a cowgirl-inspired look as the ambassador for Miu Miu, and actor Park Seo-jun embraced a genderless style at the Chanel show, pairing a white tweed jacket with a Camellia corsage for an elegant touch. DJ Peggy Gou, a global sensation, attended the Chanel show wearing a tweed top layered with a belt and chain.
