The Adidas AE 1, Anthony Edwards’ first signature shoe in collaboration with Adidas, has been one of the most successful player-endorsed sneakers in recent years. Released at the end of 2023, it quickly became a bestseller in the Adidas Basketball lineup, thanks to its striking design, vibrant colorways, and affordable price.
Rumors about the next-generation model, likely named AE 2, have been circulating online since June of last year. Now, Adidas has finally provided a sneak peek during its latest financial report meeting, offering a brief glimpse into the shoe’s development for this year. From the leaked footage, it appears that the AE 2 will feature a completely revamped upper structure, with a new overlay extending from the sole to just below the ankle, adding a bold design element.
