The company made the announcement through WARN notices filed in both states over the past week.

Retail Dive reports that Forever 21’s Los Angeles headquarters, employing more than 350 workers, will also be closed.

A representative from Catalyst Brands, the parent company of Forever 21, stated that the company “continues to explore strategic options while also looking at ways to reduce costs across our operations and optimize our store footprint.”

In preparation for a potential second bankruptcy filing, liquidation sales began last month, as the company seeks a buyer. If no suitable buyer is found, Forever 21 plans to liquidate its entire 350-store chain.

At its peak, Forever 21 operated over 800 locations worldwide.
