The following day, Deepti took to Instagram to share a video recalling the “surreal experience” of the event. In the clip, she steals the spotlight in a striking red feathery gown adorned with dramatic 3D leaf-shaped elements. Deepti gracefully sashays down the runway, briefly pausing to pose for the camera with elegance.
The video also shows Deepti and Chona sharing a warm embrace, flashing wide smiles, and showing their strong bond. Deepti captioned the video, “Surreal Experience to be walking down the Milan Fashion Week as the Showstopper for Chona Bacaoco.”
Last year, Deepti made her debut on the red carpet at the 77th Cannes Film Festival. She attended the glamorous event for the premiere of Le Deuxième Acte (The Second Act), where she wowed fans in an off-shoulder glittering dress from Aanchal Dey. The standout feature of her ensemble was the dramatic furry trail that swept across the floor, making a bold fashion statement. Deepti shared photos from the event on Instagram, writing, “Honoured to be walking the red carpet for the Opening ceremony of the 77th Cannes Film Festival with the record-breaking longest trail of the gown.”
Deepti’s fashion journey continued to impress as she wore a rusty gold gown by Nikhita Tandon on the fourth day of Cannes, radiating star-like elegance. She captioned the post, “Day 4 at Cannes for the 3rd Red Carpet.”
A former Miss North India and regional finalist in Femina Miss India, Deepti is no stranger to the spotlight. Aside from her pageant achievements, she has appeared in films like Nazar Hati Durghatana Ghati and Rock Band Party. However, it was her role in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah that catapulted her to fame. She has also featured in the show Hasya Samrat.
