New Look has announced it will shut down its Irish operations, with a clearance sale set to take place this Sunday across its stores in Ashbourne, Navan, and Dundalk.
The High Court has approved the appointment of liquidators to manage the winding down of the business and its assets. New Look stated that this decision was made after several years of continued losses and tough market conditions.
The company currently employs 347 staff across 26 stores in 16 counties, and these employees are expected to be affected by a redundancy program. New Look assured that employees were immediately notified, and further communication will occur in the coming days.
While the physical stores will close, Irish customers can still access New Look products through online platforms like ASOS and Very.
