Nike and SKIMS, the women’s clothing brand co-founded by Kim Kardashian, have announced a groundbreaking collaboration. This week, the two brands unveiled their new venture: NikeSKIMS, a sportswear brand aimed at disrupting the global fitness and activewear industries.
Focused on women’s sports, NikeSKIMS will offer activewear and fitness apparel that promotes inclusivity and body positivity—values central to Kardashian’s vision when launching SKIMS last year.
The first collection from NikeSKIMS is scheduled to drop this spring, available at select retail locations and online. Plans for global expansion are set for 2026.
“Nike and SKIMS share a deep commitment to innovation, inclusivity, and pushing boundaries, driven by an unwavering belief in the power of women,” said Kardashian in a statement. “This partnership is the culmination of that shared vision, delivering products that are meticulously designed to sculpt and perform for every body. Every single detail has been obsessively considered. We’re incredibly excited to unveil our first collection this spring.”
The collaboration represents a major step for Nike into the women’s sportswear market. The company already has high-profile partnerships with WNBA stars like Sabrina Ionescu and A’ja Wilson, both of whom have signature shoes. Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark also has a lucrative contract with Nike and is preparing to launch her own signature footwear.
On the college front, Nike has partnered with standout athletes such as USC’s JuJu Watkins and UConn’s Paige Bueckers. In addition, UCLA gymnast Jordan Chiles has signed an NIL deal with Nike and appeared alongside Watkins in the company’s first Super Bowl commercial in 25 years.
“We’re energized by the opportunity to build a new brand and shake things up for the next generation of athletes with NikeSKIMS,” said Heidi O’Neill, Nike’s President of Consumer, Product, and Brand. “This partnership brings together the best of both brands and unlocks an incredible opportunity to disrupt the industry with our shared passion and commitment to innovation. We will invite even more athletes into sport and movement with products that make them feel strong and sexy.”
The NikeSKIMS collection will feature a variety of training apparel, footwear, and accessories. The brands aim to offer not just gym-ready gear, but stylish, premium-quality pieces suitable for everyday wear, with extended sizing available to ensure inclusivity for all women.
This collaboration promises to shake up the sportswear industry and offer women of all shapes and sizes products designed for both performance and style.
