Tiger Woods and Kai Trump both wore the Sun Day Red clothing brand during the Genesis Invitational golf tournament on Sunday in La Jolla, California. While Trump, the granddaughter of former President Donald Trump, competed in the event, Woods opted not to participate competitively after the recent loss of his mother.
“I planned to tee it up this week, but I’m just not ready,” Woods stated. “I did my best to prepare, knowing it’s what my Mom would have wanted, but I’m still processing her loss.” Woods’ mother passed away earlier in the month.
For the tournament, Woods wore pieces from his own athleisure brand, Sun Day Red. He sported a black insulated grid vest and paired it with the label’s core stripe polo in red. He completed the look with matching trousers from the brand, and wore a Rolex watch on his wrist. Woods later posed with tournament winner Ludvig Åberg of Sweden.
Trump, also sporting Sun Day Red, wore the brand’s Luxe Lounge mid-weight quarter-zip pullover, which she layered over a white polo with black trousers. The teenager, who is set to play golf at the University of Miami, looked stylish in the fleece design.
Aside from being a competitive golfer, Trump is gaining recognition as a social media influencer, documenting her life on YouTube. Her content not only highlights her athletic pursuits but also gives followers a glimpse into her experiences as President Trump’s granddaughter. She recently shared her preparations for the inauguration, including details about the three Sherri Hill gowns she received to wear.
Trump boasts over 1 million followers on Instagram and delivered a speech at the 2024 Republican National Convention in support of her grandfather.
Kai Trump is one of five children of Donald Trump Jr. and his wife, Vanessa.
