The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) has announced a recall on a hoodie from a popular UK clothing brand, Lanehunters Limited.
Lanehunters, a brand launched in 2023, specializes in designing stylish yet protective clothing and gear for motorcyclists. The recall affects the Armoured Black Hoodie with Kevlar and Level 2 Padding Set.
The issue with this product lies in its lack of structural integrity. The hoodie’s protective layers do not meet the required safety standards, meaning it may not provide sufficient protection during a fall, potentially leading to injuries.
The recall applies to around 14 affected items in the Republic of Ireland.
