From February 6 to 11, New York Fashion Week showcased over 120 designers from 16 countries, presenting their collections at various Manhattan locations.
Nepali-American designer Prabal Gurung stole the spotlight with his Fall 2025-26 collection, which was inspired by his forthcoming memoir, Walk Like a Girl. His presentation at Surrogate’s Court wowed attendees with a striking mix of pastels, bold colors, and versatile designs.
This season’s runways combined sophistication with innovation. Tory Burch blended twisted yarns with oversized jackets, Tommy Hilfiger offered a fresh take on American heritage, and Willy Chavarria pushed the boundaries of menswear.
On the final day, the front row featured celebrities like Kendall Jenner, who attended several shows, and supermodel Kate Moss, making a rare appearance. Chloë Sevigny showed off her signature edgy style, while Jimmy Choo mingled with top industry figures. Patti Smith brought her rock-and-roll flair, and models Precious Lee and Emily Ratajkowski turned heads with their fashion choices. Hollywood stars Amanda Seyfried, Martha Stewart, and Jodie Turner-Smith added an air of elegance, while Ciara blended high fashion with streetwear.
This year’s NYFW embraced comfort with relaxed tailoring, flat shoes, and fluid silhouettes, while jewel tones, floral patterns, and textures added a dramatic flair. Designers struck a balance between minimalism and bold accents, reflecting a fashion world that fuses practicality with artistic expression.
