Faherty, the coastal-inspired clothing brand, is set to open a new location in Alpharetta’s Avalon this summer. The 2,800-square-foot store will be situated near Urban Outfitters, adding to the shopping hub’s vibrant mix of retailers.
Founded in 2013 by twin brothers Alex and Mike Faherty, along with Alex’s wife Kerry Docherty, the family-owned brand is known for its comfortable, high-quality, and sustainably made apparel. The new Avalon store will mark Faherty’s third Georgia location, joining existing stores in Buckhead’s Shops Around Lenox and Savannah.
Faherty is among several new retailers arriving at Avalon this year. Other upcoming tenants include Brilliant Earth, a jeweler; Fount, a leather goods company; Jo Malone London, a fragrance house; and Reformation, a women’s clothing brand.
Avalon, which celebrated its 10th anniversary last fall, is now managed by Jamestown following the company’s acquisition of North American Properties’ Atlanta subsidiary.
“We’re excited to continue evolving our leasing strategy and couldn’t think of a better way to kick off the new year than by sharing this announcement with our guests,” said Adam Schwegman, director and head of retail leasing at Jamestown. “All these brands are either first-to-state or currently only have intown locations, so their additions will further solidify Avalon as a go-to shopping destination.”
