The popular fashion brand PDF made its official debut at Milan Fashion Week, unveiling its highly anticipated 2025 Fall/Winter collection. Hundreds of fashion enthusiasts gathered at SuperStudio to witness a fashion revolution curated by designer Domenico Formichetti, featuring graffiti-inspired designs and a trash rock aesthetic.
PDF first appeared at Milan Fashion Week last June, presenting its 2025 Spring/Summer collection, “Holy Motor,” which attracted over 1,500 attendees. The event featured performances by artists such as Ghali, Tony Effe, and Tedua, and showcased a new collection inspired by off-road motorcycles.
This season’s collection, named “United Jam,” draws inspiration from 1990s and early 2000s hip-hop music, capturing the golden era of hip-hop music videos. The collection also reflects the fashion style seen in iconic films of the era, such as Boyz n the Hood, Paid in Full, and Menace II Society, all starring Black actors. The collection blends those vintage styles with contemporary elements, featuring oversized silhouettes, cropped pants, and boots.
The runway show brought together models, artists, and brand friends, including Moise Keane, Sita Abellan, Alvin Kamara, and Taylil James. A white wall on the side of the stage set the scene for a dramatic moment after the runway show, when several graffiti artists took over the stage. The performance was abruptly halted by blaring alarm sounds and the intervention of faux police officers, adding an unexpected twist to the event.
Domenico Formichetti shared, “This is a love letter to the cultures that have shaped me, and also a provocation: a call and vision for the future!”
