Ripper GC captain Cameron Smith recently revealed a new partnership with luxury golf clothing brand, Greyson Clothiers. Smith was spotted sporting the brand’s logo on his chest in a recent Instagram video, marking a shift from his team’s previous sponsorship with Original Penguin, which had supported Smith for years.
For 2025, Smith and his LIV Golf team will be proudly sponsored by Greyson, a brand known for merging fashion with sport. The partnership was first hinted at in a video leaked by a rival LIV Golf team, giving fans an early look at the collaboration.
Greyson’s logo, a wolf, represents the brand’s principles of success, style, focus, intelligence, and strength. The company’s mission is to create stylish and functional products for the modern lifestyle.
Ripper GC, which won the LIV Golf League team championship in 2024, consists of Smith as the captain, along with teammates Lucas Herbert, Matt Jones, and Marc Leishman. Greyson is also the clothing sponsor for several high-profile players in 2025, including Justin Thomas, Thorbjorn Olesen, and European Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald.
The sponsorship deal was first hinted at by a post from Martin Kaymer’s Cleeks GC. In an Instagram Reel, various players, including Smith, appeared wearing the new Ripper GC x Greyson apparel, revealing the brand’s new partnership with Smith’s team.
This new deal comes on the heels of other sponsorship announcements in the LIV Golf circuit, including Bryson DeChambeau’s Crushers GC securing a partnership with Reebok and Majesticks GC’s new deal with Castore Sportswear.
As the LIV Golf season gets underway in Saudi Arabia from February 6-8, fans will get to see more of these teams and their new sponsors in action.
