In a seamless fusion of sports and fashion, Emma Grede, the National Football League (NFL), Kristin Juszczyk, and Fanatics have unveiled Off Season, a high-end sportswear brand. The brand’s debut collection features unisex puffer jackets inspired by iconic NFL teams, combining style with team pride.
The inaugural collection showcases designs representing five NFL teams: the San Francisco 49ers, Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles, Detroit Lions, and Buffalo Bills. The collection includes puffer vests, jackets, and long coats, each highlighting Juszczyk’s innovative spliced designs that celebrate standout players from these teams.
“Off Season was born out of my love for high design and a desire to transform NFL fan apparel into something extraordinary,” said Kristin Juszczyk, co-founder of the brand. “For years, I’ve reimagined how team pride can be expressed, and seeing the positive response from other players’ wives, celebrity fans, and supporters showed me this vision could grow into something bigger.”
Kristin, a self-taught designer, first gained attention with her custom gameday outfits for herself and others at San Francisco 49ers games, where her husband, Kyle Juszczyk, plays. Her distinctive designs quickly garnered national interest, setting the stage for the launch of Off Season.
Among her early supporters was Olympic star Simone Biles, who wore a custom vest designed by Kristin to a Green Bay Packers game in support of her husband, Jonathan Owens. The vest incorporated a game-day flag, plaid lining, an old Packers tee pocket, and an Olympic patch, underscoring Kristin’s knack for blending creativity with craftsmanship.
“Fashion has become an integral part of gameday culture,” said Xaimara Coss, director of licensing at the NFL. “Off Season represents a significant evolution in licensed merchandise, transforming one individual’s fandom-inspired designs into one of the NFL’s most exciting collaborations.”
Emma Grede, co-founder of Off Season, is a seasoned entrepreneur known for her work with Good American, SKIMS, and the Fifteen Percent Pledge. Grede brings her expertise in business and design to the venture, helping establish the brand as a premium player in the sportswear market.
“With Off Season, we’re giving fans the chance to blend fashion and fandom effortlessly,” said Grede. “This brand represents a fresh perspective on sports-inspired style, offering pieces that fans can wear both on and off game days.”
The debut collection includes versatile unisex designs in sizes XS to XXXL, featuring bold aesthetics and premium materials. Prices range from $295 for vests to $375 for jackets and $495 for long coats.
“Partnering with Kristin, the NFL, and Fanatics to bring Off Season to life has been a thrilling journey,” Grede added. “This debut collection is just the beginning. We’re excited to redefine fan apparel and can’t wait to reveal what’s next as we expand this category further.”
Off Season promises to elevate sportswear with its unique blend of high design, unisex sizing, and luxurious materials, offering fans a stylish way to celebrate their teams beyond the stadium.
