Alexis Stone, the drag queen sensation, made waves at Paris Fashion Week with a jaw-dropping transformation that left many believing Hollywood icon Jack Nicholson had attended the Balenciaga spring/summer 2025 fashion show. Though Nicholson himself wasn’t present, Stone, whose real name is Elliot Joseph Rentz, successfully impersonated the 87-year-old actor.
On September 30, Rentz, 30, arrived at the highly anticipated event dressed in an uncanny replica of Nicholson, channeling the actor’s signature look. Sporting a Balenciaga hotel bathrobe, untamed gray hair, and a convincing Nicholson smile, Rentz captured the actor’s essence, particularly from the late 1990s to early 2000s.
The transformation took more than six hours to complete. It involved detailed prosthetics to create wrinkles on his head, face, and neck, along with a bodysuit, chest piece, fake teeth, blue contacts, and a wig. Rentz also carried a 3D-printed cigar and a glass of Seventy One gin to complete the look.
Rentz, speaking to The New York Times, explained the inspiration behind the look. “We’re very much doing grumpy Jack,” he said, referring to the actor’s well-known public appearances, which often featured him in quirky, memorable situations like smoking a cigarette by the water or looking grumpy at a Lakers game.
In addition to his appearance at the fashion show, Rentz shared photos on Instagram where he recreated Nicholson’s famous outfits, including the iconic flannel worn by Nicholson’s character Jack Torrance in The Shining.
Known for his viral celebrity transformations, Rentz has amassed 1.3 million Instagram followers. His past transformations have included Jennifer Coolidge, Madonna, Lana Del Rey, and, more recently, a viral Miranda Priestly look inspired by Meryl Streep’s The Devil Wears Prada character.
