Sosandar is expanding into homewares, following in the footsteps of other fashion brands entering the category. Just days after Rixo announced its move, Sosandar is making a bigger leap, partnering with one of the UK’s largest retailers, Next.

The company has signed a licensing agreement with Next to launch a new line of home products, building on the success of Sosandar’s clothing range already sold through Next. This partnership taps into Next’s expertise in sourcing and quality, while bringing Sosandar’s design vision to the homeware market.

The new collection will feature a full range of living room furniture and accessories, including sofas, accent chairs, rugs, and lighting. The products will be sold exclusively online through Next’s webstore, with plans for a debut in autumn 2024.

Sosandar noted that the licensing agreement requires no capital investment on its part. It is part of the company’s strategy to further grow its brand and expand its reach.

Co-CEOs Ali Hall and Julie Lavington emphasized that the deal reflects the strength of Sosandar’s brand. “This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage our brand equity and extend the success Sosandar has had through third-party partnerships with minimal risk and no capital expenditure,” they said.

The CEOs also highlighted that combining Next’s technical expertise with Sosandar’s design aesthetic would create a unique and exciting product range, helping the brand reach new audiences while deepening its connection with existing customers.
