Outdoor brand Berghaus has launched its second standalone store in the UK at Gloucester Quays, part of Peel Retail & Leisure. This new location joins a lineup of top outdoor retailers in the area, situated opposite an Adidas store.

The 2,117 square foot shop marks Berghaus’s first dedicated presence in the South West. It features a range of products, including waterproof jackets, insulated clothing, daysacks, and durable footwear.

The store also showcases a new design concept that combines elements from nature with practical functionality. It includes wooden furniture, metal accents, and a landscape design inspired by the local countryside, along with lifelike foliage on the exterior.

Paul Carter, Asset Director at Peel Retail & Leisure, stated that the diverse selection of outdoor wear at Gloucester Quays is intentional. He emphasized that the opening of Berghaus’s new store concept enhances the variety available to shoppers.

Adam Gill, head of sales for Berghaus owner Pentland Brands, highlighted that Gloucester Quays is an ideal location due to its proximity to the Cotswolds and urban centers. He noted that the new store offers a range of appealing products and marks the start of Berghaus’s updated retail strategy.
