Following Louis Vuitton’s recent men’s fashion show, Chanel has announced that its “Early Spring 2024/25 Holiday Collection” fashion show will take place in Hong Kong on November 5. The event will be held at the Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI).
Sunny Tan, a Member of the Legislative Council for the Textiles and Garment functional constituency, commented that Hong Kong’s selection by international brands for fashion shows highlights the city’s global competitiveness.
Tan believes this move underscores Hong Kong’s potential to be a leading fashion and textile hub in Asia. He added that it provides strong support for the local fashion industry and could boost tourism, trade, and related sectors.
