Tiger Woods, a 15-time major champion, has only competed in two PGA Tour events in the first four months of 2024. However, he has been actively involved in his new venture, Sun Day Red. On Wednesday, the brand launched its debut collection, featuring a range of apparel including shirts, hoodies, shorts, pants, and hats.

Sun Day Red was introduced in February, following Woods’ split from Nike after a 27-year partnership. The brand, which Woods developed in collaboration with TaylorMade, operates independently from TaylorMade, Woods’ club sponsor since 2017. Woods wore Sun Day Red apparel at last month’s Masters, where he made the cut for a record 24th consecutive time.

Sun Day Red positions itself as “athleisure,” designed to be versatile for various settings. The collection includes t-shirts priced at $70, hoodies at $150, and pants at $165. Woods emphasized the meticulous design of the products, stating, “Every detail has been meticulously designed, prioritizing the athlete first at every step, resulting in a collection that exceeds the highest standards.”

Currently, Sun Day Red products are available only on the brand’s website for customers in the U.S. and Canada. Plans are in place to expand into retail stores and other markets outside North America, with future offerings including footwear and apparel for women and children.

Despite injuries and surgeries limiting his play to just seven PGA Tour events over the past three-and-a-half years, Woods remains a prominent figure. In 2023, he ranked 14th among the world’s highest-paid athletes, earning $77.2 million, which includes $65 million from endorsements and $12 million from the tour’s Player Impact Program.
