The 26th edition of Bangalore Fashion Week’s (BFW) Winter Festive recently concluded, marking a vibrant three-day event that showcased the work of 15 designers. Each designer brought forth their latest collections, contributing to an impressive display of fashion creativity.

One of the standout moments on the final day was the presentation by Hyderabad-based designer Ganesh Nallari. Returning to BFW for the third time, Nallari unveiled a couture collection that focused on Indian ethnic wear. His designs were distinguished by intricate patchwork, embodying his belief that personalized clothing fosters responsible fashion.

Nallari’s collection, titled “Priya Udyāna” (My Dear Garden), was deeply rooted in his personal experiences. He drew inspiration from a single flower that bloomed in his high-rise garden on the 22nd floor, which brought him immense joy. “This collection is about recognizing the beauty that is right in front of you,” Nallari explained, emphasizing the theme of a flower blooming in the wild, untouched by human care.

To express this vision, Nallari’s runway show featured 24 models adorned with flowers in their hair, symbolizing natural beauty. The runway itself was transformed into a lush rainforest, with the garments reflecting the image of blooming flowers. The collection boasted a vibrant palette of floral colors such as red, yellow, green, and teal.

The event concluded with a closing show by designer Rahul Singh, wrapping up a week that celebrated the best of Indian couture and creative artistry.
