Adidas and Jamaica Release a 1998 World Cup Collection

by Demos

Adidas and Jamaica have unveiled a new capsule collection celebrating a significant football achievement. Released alongside the Notting Hill Carnival, the collection features lifestyle items with a Jamaican twist. Highlights include a retro black tracksuit with green and yellow chevron details, a hoodie, T-shirt, and matching shorts adorned with Jamaican flag colors and the JFF crest.

The standout item is the LFSTLR jersey, inspired by 1990s kits. The shirt has a sleek black base with a subtle adidas trefoil pattern and yellow stripes on the shoulders outlined in green. A flat-knit polo collar pays homage to Jamaica’s 1998 World Cup jerseys. Jamaican dancehall star Shenseea models the collection, celebrating Jamaica’s cultural heritage both on and off the pitch.
