New Balance’s 993 sneakers are often overlooked compared to other models in the 990 series. However, they’ve gained attention in Teddy Santis’ seasonal collections, particularly for Fall/Winter 2024.
New Balance and Santis recently introduced their latest Made in U.S.A. sneakers, featuring the 993 among other 990 models. The 993, which made a subtle impression during the Spring/Summer 2024 season with its stylish fruity designs, returns for fall in earthy, autumn-inspired colors.
For Fall/Winter 2024, the New Balance 993 is available in “Mushroom” and “Olive Leaf,” giving it an outdoor, hiking-shoe vibe. Although they don’t have the technical features like toggle laces or weather-proof uppers typical of hiking shoes, the colorways give them a rugged look.
The 993 sneakers are crafted with classic mesh and suede uppers, supported by chunky soles. While they might be too stylish for serious hiking, they are perfect for casual outings.
Recently, New Balance launched the highly anticipated “Shadow Grey” 993s, featuring a sleek hairy suede design. This release marks the beginning of a new series of 993 sneakers.
Now, sneaker enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for the outdoor-ready 993s, which are expected to be available soon, according to sneaker insiders.
