St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center (SMSC) will be celebrating its 46th Annual Haute with Heart Fashion Show, themed “Couture,” paying tribute to Paris, one of the world’s fashion capitals.
Inspired by an artwork from SMSC student and artist Mark Rimland, this year’s event will transport guests to the City of Love. Upon arrival, attendees will be welcomed with live Parisian-inspired music, boutique shopping, a silent auction, and complimentary champagne. Once inside the ballroom, guests will enjoy a Parisian-inspired luncheon, performances by SMSC students, a live auction, and a unique fashion show produced by renowned stylist Kristi Brooks, who has worked with top designers and styled celebrities internationally.
SMSC, a nonprofit organization, supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The funds raised from this event will go toward the organization’s acclaimed programs that blend care with creativity. These programs offer students a liberal arts education, practical skill development, employment opportunities, and the dignity of lifelong learning. With more than 400 students, ranging from young adults to seniors, SMSC helps individuals cultivate creativity, learn marketable skills, and foster independence and self-esteem.
This year’s fashion show will honor John Seiber and recognize Charles and Maureen King as Honorary Chairs. Sean and Karen Mercadante will serve as Host Chairs, with The Guild Hotel and The Mansour Group as presenting sponsors.
