Chayce Manning, a self-taught fashion designer, has gained recognition for his distinctive outfits. Once crowned “Best Dressed” in high school, Chayce has transitioned from that accolade to creating original fashion pieces.
Raised in Springfield, Chayce follows a personal mantra: “Imagine yourself walking down a runway. That’s the best advice I can give, because you shouldn’t worry about what others think.”
Chayce’s innovative approach is evident in his creations. “These shorts are custom-made. I cut them from two pairs of jeans and used the leftover fabric to make this bag,” he explained.
Chayce’s journey began just two years ago, starting from his bedroom. He continues to cut and sew each item by hand, a testament to his dedication.
“Creating these clothes boosts my confidence,” Chayce said.
Some of his most cherished pieces took over seven hours to complete.
Beyond designing clothing, Chayce is also a mental health advocate. Earlier this year, he launched his brand, ‘Tajair’. The collection features clothing inspired by Buddhist principles, promoting enlightenment, compassion, and positive energy.
At just 20 years old, Chayce Manning aims to inspire others to express themselves through their fashion choices.
