A new clothing boutique, Verre Rosé, is teaming up with other local businesses for a fashion show this weekend. The boutique, located at 208 Linden Square Drive, opened two months ago and specializes in women’s and children’s clothing, along with a customizable trucker hat bar.

The fashion show will take place on Saturday, August 10. Verre Rosé is collaborating with Blo Blow Dry Bar and El 123 Tex Mex for the event. Models will showcase the latest clothing styles, while stylists from Blo Blow Dry Bar will handle hair styling. Attendees can also enjoy a salsa bar and refreshments.

Hayley Carpenter, manager of Blo Blow Dry Bar, emphasized the importance of community investment. “I really do believe in investing back into your community. That’s the only way for us to expand and grow,” Carpenter said.

Both Carpenter and Traci Scarbrough, owner of Verre Rosé, view the collaboration as a way to introduce their businesses to the local community. “We can always shop online or at big-box stores, but we support local events like little league games and fundraisers. It’s important to invest in our own community, and this event is a great start,” Scarbrough noted.

Verre Rosé is open daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
