LONDON, UK — 2024 has marked a significant milestone for Skepta, also known as Big Smoke. This year, he has not only launched his own festival and prepared for his first solo LP in five years but also strengthened his presence in the electronic music scene through his duo project, Más Tiempo, with Jammer. Their collaboration brings house music influences worldwide.

Adding to his impressive achievements, Skepta’s sneaker deal with Puma has taken a prominent leap forward. This year, he introduced his signature Puma Skope sneakers. Now, these ventures converge in a full apparel collection and a reimagined version of the Puma Velophasis, under the Más Tiempo banner.

The Puma Velophasis Reimagined

Skepta’s reinterpretation of the Puma Velophasis brings significant hardware updates. The typically intricate weaving geometry of mainline drops is notably simplified. Angular cutouts dominate the profile, transforming Y2K design elements into a futuristic aesthetic. The collection’s color palette is distinctively Más Tiempo, featuring a sleek combination of black and white with vibrant pink accents. These pops of color appear on the tongue pull tab and outsole, which extends onto the toe. Más Tiempo branding is prominently displayed on the tongue and heel, completing the design.

Apparel Collection Highlights

The accompanying apparel collection mirrors the Velophasis drop’s theme, offering pieces that complement the footwear. Key items include a soccer kit, shorts, and a hybrid anorak/rugby top. Each piece maintains the signature black, white, and pink color scheme, ensuring a cohesive and stylish look.

Release Information

The full Skepta x Más Tiempo Puma collection will be available starting July 19th. Fans can purchase the items on PUMA.com, in stores, and through partnering retailers. This collaboration signifies a remarkable fusion of music and fashion, showcasing Skepta’s multifaceted influence.
