Disney continues to build excitement for Star Wars Day as May the 4th approaches, this time with the launch of a vibrant new Star Wars clothing collection: the Star Wars Artist Series by Ashley Eckstein. Eckstein, who is widely known as the voice of Ahsoka Tano in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and the founder of the Her Universe and Our Universe clothing brands, has introduced a collection for The Disney Store that bursts with bold neon colors and spray-paint inspired designs. The collection carries an energetic 1980s vibe and features playful references to the beloved saga.
The new lineup includes the Star Wars Sling Bag, a piece that proudly displays the Resistance Starbird symbol. The collection also features pullover sweatshirts decorated with spray-paint styled portraits of iconic characters running down the sleeves and the classic phrase “May the Force Be with You” printed on the front. These pieces are perfect for fans who want to infuse their wardrobe with a colorful and cheerful nod to the Star Wars universe.
Among the highlights is the Star Wars Sling Bag, described as a vibrant reimagining of the iconic Star Wars logo in neon spray-paint colors. Designed by Ashley Eckstein, the bag boasts a spacious main compartment, a front zipper pocket, an adjustable strap, and multiple loops for attaching charms. The Resistance Starbird symbol adds an extra touch, making the sling bag an ideal accessory for any Star Wars enthusiast.
Another standout is the “May the Force Be with You” Pullover Sweatshirt for Adults. This sweatshirt, designed by Eckstein, features bold neon portraits of Princess Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Yoda printed along the right sleeve. The iconic phrase graces the front of the shirt, with the rebellious spray-paint style bringing a fresh, dynamic look that captures the spirit of the saga.
Also featured in the collection is the Millennium Falcon and Rebel Alliance Starbird Woven Shirt for Adults, along with a playful Darth Vader “Daddy” T-Shirt. The latter introduces humor into the mix, screen-printing the Dark Lord of the Sith alongside the word “Daddy” and the Empire’s symbol in a colorful graffiti style. Eckstein’s humorous take offers a fun, irreverent spin on the legendary villain.
The Star Wars Pullover Sweatshirt rounds out the core offerings of the new line. Designed to balance both sides of the Force, this sweatshirt showcases the Star Wars logo on the front and vivid spray-painted portraits of Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Yoda on one sleeve, and Darth Vader, Darth Sidious, a Stormtrooper, and Boba Fett on the other. The bold neon colors and graffiti aesthetic create a visually striking tribute to the franchise’s heroes and villains alike.
In addition to Ashley Eckstein’s vibrant collection, Disney’s Star Wars Hoth Collection also debuted recently. Comicbook introduced the new lineup on April 17th, revealing items designed to keep fans stylish at Disney Parks even during the hot summer months. The Hoth Collection features the Hoth Ears headband, showcasing a snowy landscape with towering AT-ATs and a snowspeeder. A Loungefly Mini-Backpack complements the headband with matching snowy designs, and a Hoth baseball jersey for adults completes the ensemble. The camp shirt from this collection is especially noteworthy, featuring a spray paint-style allover print of the Rebel Alliance Starbird and the Millennium Falcon. It also bears the “Disney Artist Showcase Featuring Ashley Eckstein” stamp on the back yoke, combining iconic imagery with bold, bright colors that fans will find hard to resist.
