Xenomorphs Take Over Alien Day with New Limited-Edition Apparel Line

by Demos

Happy Alien Day! For over a decade now, April 26th has served as an official celebration of Ridley Scott’s iconic horror franchise. Since the chilling debut of Xenomorphs in 1979, the Alien series has expanded to include seven mainline films — or nine if you count the non-canon Alien vs. Predator crossovers. Now, to mark this special day, a new clothing collection from Rucking Fotten honors some of the genre’s most terrifying creatures.

The brand’s new collection, crafted specifically for Alien Day, shines a spotlight on Alien, Aliens, and Alien 3. Fans can expect a range of long-sleeve shirts and t-shirts adorned with imagery of Sigourney Weaver’s legendary Ellen Ripley, the classic Alien poster, and plenty of Xenomorph and chestburster designs. Additionally, the collection features a hat and sweatshirt emblazoned with the classic Alien font. Sharing their enthusiasm, Rucking Fotten stated:

“The last time we participated in Alien Day was 2022 where we paired the classic 1979 Alien with the super under-appreciated Prometheus for single design releases. I always thought there was so much more I could’ve done to dive deeper into that design and expand into a full capsule, 3 years later it’s become a reality!”

Following Ridley Scott’s return to the franchise with Prometheus and Alien: Covenant in the 2010s, modern horror master Fede Álvarez reignited the terrifying essence of the Xenomorphs with Alien: Romulus. The film, a love letter to the original Alien and Aliens era, scored both critical acclaim and commercial success, grossing over $350 million worldwide on an $80 million budget. Its success quickly greenlit a sequel, and the Alien universe is expanding even further.

Coming even sooner is Alien: Earth, the first Alien TV series, premiering this summer. As the title suggests, for the first time, Xenomorphs will officially invade Earth within the main Alien timeline. Meanwhile, fans are buzzing after the Predator: Badlands teaser trailer dropped last week, teasing connections to the Alien franchise. Hopes are high that a new Alien vs. Predator movie could be on the horizon. The last installment, Requiem (2007), remains infamous for its dismal 12% Rotten Tomatoes score.

Currently, all Alien films — including the Alien vs. Predator duology — are available to stream on Hulu. And before diving into your next Xenomorph movie marathon, you can pre-order Rucking Fotten’s exclusive Alien Day 2025 apparel collection through their official website. But act quickly — the collection is only available through Sunday, April 27th, and is expected to sell out fast!
