Luke Dully, an Athlone native and founder of Walker & Hunt, recently celebrated a significant milestone for his clothing brand when leading British Formula 1 driver Lando Norris was spotted wearing one of his knit jumpers during the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix in Jeddah.
Founded in May 2019, Walker & Hunt has experienced steady growth, with Luke expanding his timeless and classic fashion range with each seasonal collection. Originally from Coolevin Park in Coosan, Luke is the son of Edel Garavan and Padraig ‘Dutchy’ Dully.
Now based in Dubai, Luke’s brand has also ventured into international markets, including a recent launch in Debenham stores across the UK. “Seeing an international sportsperson of Lando Norris’ status wearing the striped ecru knit jumper from my clothing range will only serve to enhance the brand,” said Luke. “Walker & Hunt continues to grow internationally, and Lando wearing an item from our collection will help raise more awareness of the brand.”
Lando Norris, currently in second place for the Formula 1 Drivers’ Championship after the first five races of the season, wore the jumper at the Grand Prix. The McLaren Mercedes driver, who was the runner-up in the 2024 F1 Drivers’ Championship, is considered one of the top contenders for the title this year.
