Pharrell’s Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2025 Collection: A Miami-Inspired Cruise from Paris to the 305

by Demos

Pharrell Williams has a deep love for Miami, a city he’s repeatedly praised for its unique energy. In fact, when the Louis Vuitton Men’s artistic director opened his Billionaire Boys Club flagship in the city in 2022, he remarked to Hypebeast, “There’s no other place like Miami in the world.” So, it comes as no surprise that Pharrell designed Louis Vuitton’s Pre-Fall 2025 menswear collection with a vision of a cross-continental cruise journey from Paris to Miami’s 305 area code.

Pharrell’s connection to Miami is well-established and deeply rooted in the city’s culture. In 2018, he opened a massive, two-floor, 13,500-square-foot dining spot called Swan in Miami’s Design District. A couple of years later, the multi-talented producer purchased a sprawling $30 million mansion on 3.3 acres in Coral Gables. In 2021, he collaborated with hospitality mogul David Grutman to open The Goodtime Hotel in South Beach, further cementing his influence in the city. And of course, there’s the Billionaire Boys Club store, not to mention his notable appearances around the city in his Tesla Cybertruck – including a memorable, humorous attempt to parallel park outside Louis Vuitton’s Miami store last year.

Given Pharrell’s extensive involvement in Miami’s luxury scene, it’s clear he knows exactly what the city’s upscale shoppers desire. His latest collection for Louis Vuitton is perfectly tailored to satisfy the tastes of Miami’s elite. However, this isn’t the kind of attire you’d see in the late-night club scenes of the city’s renowned venues like Club Space. Instead, this collection caters to yacht owners, sports car aficionados, and the city’s high-end diners and vacationers. Dubbed “the dandy’s voyage from the sea to the sand,” the collection is split into two distinct chapters: “Transit” and “Arrival.”

The “Transit” line features classic cruise wear with a chic edge, including Monogram Regatta-printed nylon windbreakers, sporty driving jackets, sharp three-piece dandy suits, and shawl-collared eveningwear—all designed with a tailored, refined silhouette. On the other hand, the “Arrival” collection is focused on relaxation and leisure, offering items like French terry towel robes, aqua bowling sets, striped shirts, and shorts—all sporting resort-inspired motifs perfect for lounging by the pool.

Pharrell’s design touches include fresh leather trunks featuring aged tan VVT sfumato trims and the Monogram Heritage motif, reinterpreted with a nautical twist. Adding to the maritime theme, sailor berets and pearl denim baseball caps add a distinct flair, while ship-rope-inspired chains and bracelets elevate the collection’s coastal vibe. Louis Vuitton’s footwear lineup also gets a vacation makeover, with the Scala, Easy Mule, Footprint, and Venice models being revamped to fit the resort-inspired theme.

Overall, Pharrell’s latest Louis Vuitton collection offers a sophisticated yet relaxed take on Miami luxury, perfectly blending his signature style with the laid-back, yet high-end atmosphere of the Magic City.
