Justin Bieber continues to build anticipation around his upcoming fashion label Skylrk, and this week he added some serious star power to the rollout. The pop icon enlisted rapper Gunna and streaming sensation Kai Cenat to tease what appears to be the brand’s footwear line, sharing a behind-the-scenes video on Instagram Thursday (April 17).
The short clip shows Gunna and Kai standing beside a tower of unreleased Skylrk sneakers and sandals. While Gunna drops a quick “yeah” before the video cuts, their presence alone is enough to stir excitement about the new brand. Bieber captioned the post with a suggestive call to action: “Should we activate @skylrk @gunna @kaicenat?”
This new post is part of a string of recent teasers hinting that Skylrk could be launching soon. On Wednesday (April 16), Bieber gave fans their first official look at the brand’s debut sneaker — a sleek green-and-white design — though he hasn’t revealed a release date just yet. Additional previews on his Instagram suggest that Skylrk will also include a lineup of six sandals in various colors.
While details about the full Skylrk collection remain limited, a February report from Highsnobiety revealed that the brand will likely expand beyond footwear, with sunglasses and apparel also in the works.
Beyond building his fashion empire, Bieber has been making the rounds at high-profile events lately. He was spotted partying at Coachella during YEAT’s set, alongside his wife Hailey, Tate McRae, and The Kid LAROI. Just days later, he showed up in a white fur coat at rapper Sexyy Red’s birthday bash, fully enjoying the festivities with the St. Louis native and her crew.
Although fans have been eager for new music, Bieber appears to be keeping his focus on Skylrk for now. He was seen in the studio earlier this year with acclaimed producer Fred Again, but there’s been no major news about an upcoming album.
For now, all eyes are on Skylrk — and with support from names like Gunna and Kai Cenat, Bieber’s brand is off to a headline-making start.
