Brazilian streetwear brand PIET made headlines at São Paulo Fashion Week (SPFW) with the debut of its 2025 Spring/Summer collection titled “Farmers League Collection”, presented at the iconic Estádio Pacaembu. Designer Pedro Andrade paid tribute to the city of São Paulo and its vibrant community by breaking fashion show conventions and hosting the runway event in a public setting, allowing broader access to the creative experience.
Ahead of the show, PIET made a groundbreaking announcement on Instagram:
“For the first time in São Paulo Fashion Week history, PIET’s show will be open to the public. This is a milestone moment for SPFW. We are inviting 4,000 attendees to witness PIET’s unique visual journey.”
The post also detailed that while tickets would be free, they were limited and only available via @piet_org’s Instagram Stories starting April 7 at 8 p.m. Entry required showing the digital ticket received by email.
The expressive collection fuses football-inspired aesthetics with streetwear flair, featuring bold graphics and patterns. Highlights included a hoodie crafted from stitched-together soccer scarves and a camo padded jacket adorned with jersey-style patches. The camouflage pieces carried a deliberate worn and faded effect, such as raw-edged long track pants that channeled a rugged and rebellious vibe.
The overall tone of the runway was bold and provocative, with models holding slogan flags and covering their faces with scarves, adding dramatic tension to the already electrifying atmosphere of the open-air showcase.
