Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week (BBFW) 2025 is set to take bridal fashion to new international heights. Organized by Fira de Barcelona with the support of the Ministry of Business and Labour of the Generalitat de Catalunya, this year’s edition boasts a significant increase in both participating brands and exhibition space.
The event will occupy 29% more space at the Montjuïc venue, expanding into Hall 8 in addition to its traditional locations in Halls 1, 2, and the Plaça de l’Univers. These spaces will host the event’s renowned catwalk and Fashion Village. From April 23 to 26, a total of 44 designers will unveil their collections for 2026. Meanwhile, the trade show component will run from April 25 to 27, featuring nearly 450 brands—82% of which come from 32 different countries. A targeted buyer program is expected to draw professionals from key markets such as the United States, South Korea, Japan, Australia, China, and the Middle East.
A major highlight of the week will be the exclusive Barcelona Bridal Night. This prestigious gala will showcase the iconic Vivienne Westwood as she presents her Bridal Collection 2026 in her first-ever bridal line fashion show. The event will be held in the historic cloister of the University of Barcelona, creating a setting that honors culture, creativity, and knowledge.
Throughout the week, the Montjuïc catwalk will host some of the most recognized names in global bridal fashion. Highly anticipated shows include those by Yolancris, Isabel Sanchis, The Atelier by Jimmy Choo from Malaysia, Wang Feng Couture from Shanghai, and the French label Cymbeline. Making its debut at BBFW, Canadian haute couture house Ines Di Santo will join other notable designers such as Sophie et Voilà, Joli Poli, Serina, Katy Corso, Yuliia Lobachóva Couture, Woná Concept & Eva Lendel, and Agnieszka Swiatly.
The trade show will also shine a spotlight on world-renowned haute couture names. Attendees will find collections from Vivienne Westwood, Giambattista Valli, Elie Saab, Viktor & Rolf, Stéphane Rolland, Ines Di Santo, Georges Hobeika, Zuhair Murad, Tony Ward, Jenny Packham, Antonio Riva, and Reem Acra.
In a move to broaden its global impact, BBFW will broadcast its runway shows live and make them available on-demand through its website and digital platforms, ensuring that bridal fashion enthusiasts worldwide can engage with the event in real-time.
