EBIT Unveils Fall 2025 Collection, Shedding Light on Bipolar Disorder

by Demos

Marking World Bipolar Day on Sunday, EBIT, the purpose-driven clothing brand founded by Simon Whitehouse, is launching its Fall 2025 collection with a focus on mental health awareness.

Fronted by activist model Rosie Viva and artist Joseph Awuah-Darko, both outspoken about their experiences with bipolar disorder, the collection was developed in collaboration with British designer John Skelton. Skelton, who was appointed EBIT’s cultural and creative director last year, brings his distinctive touch to the collection.

Titled “Bipolar/Bicolor [E200],” the 50-piece unisex lineup is entirely bicolor, featuring striking juxtapositions of taupe and beige, navy and burgundy. The collection consists of raw-cut denim, gabardine sportswear tops, and oversized textural knitwear. Made in Italy, it also emphasizes sustainability, with organic cotton as a key material.

“Real-life human beings, such as Rosie and Joseph, are my heroes. The strength it takes to be openly vulnerable advocates around sensitive topics is a trait that I know provides solidarity to many people who may feel alone. That is the essence of EBIT,” Whitehouse shared.

The campaign, captured by rising photographer Mauro Maglione and styled by Francesca Cisani, highlights Whitehouse’s commitment to using fashion as a platform for mental health advocacy.

Awuah-Darko, also known as Okuntakint, is a Ghanaian British artist renowned for his “Dear Artists” sticky note series and innovative use of Excel spreadsheets to track his moods, using colors to represent his emotional state throughout the day. Viva, a model, TV host, and mental health activist, was the subject of the 2023 Channel 4 documentary “Modeling Mania & Me.” Having walked for major brands like Gucci and Saint Laurent, she has since devoted herself to mental health advocacy, sharing her journey in books such as “Completely Normal and Totally Fine,” set for release in May.

With prices ranging from 250 to 995 euros, the collection has been picked up by retailers including End. in the U.K. and Italy; The Number 4 in Kuwait; Nighthawks in Japan, and established names like Selfridges and Modes.

EBIT, an acronym for “Enjoy Being in Transition,” fosters collaboration with designers, musicians, and artists, exploring diverse creative mediums with each drop. Prior to Skelton’s appointment, EBIT worked with notable contributors such as M/M (Paris), Glen Luchford, Michel Gaubert, Soo Joo Park, DJ John Digweed, and Wilson Oryema.

Whitehouse, leveraging his extensive experience in the fashion industry, launched EBIT in 2024. His career includes executive roles at Modes, Reference Studios, Eco-Age, Art Partner, and JW Anderson between 2014 and 2018. Additionally, he has collaborated with Matthew Williamson, Diesel Black Gold, and DKNY.

With its Fall 2025 collection, EBIT continues its mission to merge fashion with meaningful conversations, using clothing as a canvas to advocate for mental health awareness.
