Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has unveiled an online shop that offers fans a chance to purchase her favourite clothing, accessories, and jewellery items. The new digital platform allows followers to access a curated collection of pieces that reflect her signature high-low fashion style, which she previously discussed in her Netflix series.
On Monday, Meghan shared a link to the ShopMy platform with her 2.6 million Instagram followers. She disclosed that she would earn a commission on certain sales made through affiliate links, where commissions can reach as high as 30%.
The ShopMy platform is designed for “elite creators” to earn revenue by sharing links to items they recommend. Meghan’s collection, which she described as a “handpicked and curated collection of the things I love,” reflects her long-standing practice of mixing designer pieces with more accessible fashion. Fans have long asked her to share the details of her wardrobe choices, and now they can purchase items she loves directly from the shop.
Previously, outfits worn by Meghan have sold out in minutes. For example, a white coat by Canadian brand Line the Label, worn during her engagement announcement to Prince Harry in November 2017, was so popular that it crashed the brand’s website. Similarly, a £500 midi tote bag by Strathberry, which Meghan was seen carrying a month after her engagement announcement, sold out in just 11 minutes on the global website.
The 32-piece collection, launched on Monday, includes wardrobe essentials in neutral shades of white, beige, light blue, and black, made from natural materials like linen and cashmere. Among the items featured are a classic white cotton t-shirt, a striped blue “boyfriend” shirt, white linen trousers, a black wool blazer, and an elegant ivory evening dress.
The collection features a mix of high-end and high-street brands, such as Theory, Reformation, Polene, Madewell, and J Crew. There are also more affordable options, like a £99 trench coat from Uniqlo, alongside premium pieces like £595 brown leather sandals from Saint Laurent.
ShopMy’s platform allows creators like Meghan to earn commissions ranging from 10% to 30% depending on the brand or retailer. It also offers creators opportunities for paid collaborations with over 47,000 brands.
This new venture comes on the heels of Meghan’s recent Netflix lifestyle show, which gives a glimpse into her life at home, as well as her gardening, cooking, and social activities. Additionally, last year, she launched her lifestyle brand, As Ever (formerly American Riviera Orchard), focusing on selling “beautifully crafted essentials” like artisan preserves and tea.
Meghan previously ran her lifestyle blog, The Tig, from 2014 to 2017, where she shared fashion, beauty, and lifestyle tips, as well as personal insights on love, life, and travel.
