Adidas Originals made a standout impact at LA Fashion Week 2025, closing the event with an exciting runway show on March 22 that highlighted the debut of the AdiZero Goukana sneaker. The show featured 24 custom designs crafted by six emerging LA-based designers: Baba Jagne, Bishme Cromartie, Kelly Hsieh, House of Gray, House of Aama, and ECÉ Designs. Each designer reimagined Adidas Originals pieces, blending sportswear with streetwear, with the AdiZero Goukana sneaker featured prominently in key looks.
In the days leading up to the runway presentation, the designers showcased previews of their creations at a pre-party on March 21 at Adidas’ Melrose shop. The event gave attendees a first look at the sneaker as part of a curated collection.
The runway show on March 23 brought the collaboration to life, as the designers presented their hero pieces inspired by LA’s dynamic artistic and urban culture. The presentation celebrated the launch of the AdiZero Goukana and marked a significant moment in the fusion of streetwear, sports fashion, and local design talent at LA Fashion Week 2025.
