Hermès debuted its Fall/Winter 2025 collection at Paris Fashion Week, setting the stage with one of the most visually captivating shows of the season. Before the first model graced the runway, guests were treated to a unique spectacle: attendants meticulously raking the textured, dirt-like runway floor. This act of preparation beautifully set the tone for the show—a flawless blend of nature and luxury.
As attendees sipped on hibiscus mocktails, the anticipation built, and when the show finally began, the models walked to an intense, dramatic soundtrack that intensified the emotional weight of the collection. The result was a stunning showcase of understated luxury, with the Hermès woman embodying confidence through structure, texture, and graceful movement.
Creative director Nadège Vanhee embraced a bold and refined color palette, presenting five distinct themes throughout the collection. The first, sleek and striking black, dominated with black-on-black outfits that combined quilted textures, glossy leathers, and sharp tailoring. A standout piece was a quilted bomber jacket over a knitted turtleneck, paired with leather mini shorts and knee-high boots, giving off a casual yet edgy vibe.
Next, deep brown leather shorts and boots offered warmth and sophistication, paired with belted high-waisted silhouettes that conveyed a sense of effortless tailoring. A softer side emerged with stormy steel and muted charcoal hues, which introduced a gentler take on power dressing.
For a pop of vibrancy, bold greens made their mark on the collection, offering a fresh twist on leather designs and softening the otherwise structured looks. From fitted leather trench coats to belted dresses and coordinated sets, the vibrant green pieces stood out beautifully against the earthy backdrop. Complementing these, taupe and cream looks, along with sleek burgundy boots, created a bright yet sophisticated contrast.
Leather remained central to the collection, with an array of pieces ranging from structured outerwear to fluid trousers and fitted jumpsuits. Quilted textures, belted waists, and tailored details maintained a balance of femininity and functionality, further emphasizing the brand’s focus on craftsmanship.
Accessories were crucial in reinforcing Hermès’s reputation for luxury. Structured leather bags, both large and small, were worn crossbody, handheld, or tucked under the arm, perfectly complementing the sleek outfits. Tall leather boots in rich hues like deep burgundy and olive green highlighted the strength and confidence of the collection, cementing Hermès’s legacy in expert leather craftsmanship.
