Louis Tomlinson, former One Direction member, is currently trending due to his highly anticipated return to the stage and the launch of his new clothing brand. Here’s everything you need to know about the latest buzz surrounding him.
On March 6, Tomlinson will take the stage in London for his first live performance in six months. The show, which is completely sold out as of now, will take place at Electric Brixton, with special guest Dirty Blondie joining him. Tomlinson shared his excitement about the performance in a post, writing, “It’s been 6 months since we played a show so I just watched this again. I feel so incredibly lucky for what we have built! Tonight will be special!!”
Fans are speculating that Tomlinson might have more surprises in store for the audience. Some believe he could be announcing his third album during the show, especially after he hinted at a “big year ahead.”
Aside from his music career, Tomlinson is also expanding into the fashion world with his new clothing brand, 28. In a recent interview with Outlander Magazine, he discussed his creative process for the brand, revealing that he draws inspiration from vintage archive stores, particularly old jackets, which influence his designs.
When asked about the challenges of launching a new brand, Tomlinson admitted that starting any new project is always tough, but now that he’s immersed in it, he feels he should’ve done it sooner. He also shared that clothes hold memories for him, much like tattoos, with each piece reminding him of specific moments in his life.
Tomlinson envisions his clothing brand continuing to grow both in aesthetic and collection. He compared the creative process of building the brand to songwriting, as both involve self-expression and personal connection.
The name of the brand, 28, was inspired by Tomlinson’s love for football. While with One Direction, he was signed to his favorite team, Doncaster Rovers, where he wore the number 28. He now associates the number with home, saying, “I’ve never really had a connection to numbers or anything like that, now that number reminds me of home.”
