Max Verstappen is often seen in his race gear, living the Red Bull brand both on and off the track. The F1 champion is known for rarely stepping out in casual or stylish outfits, usually sticking to his Red Bull racing overalls or official merchandise.
So when AlphaTauri (the clothing brand, not the F1 team) announced Verstappen as their global brand ambassador, it took Lando Norris by surprise. While AlphaTauri is owned by Red Bull, and signing a four-time world champion isn’t entirely unexpected, the real shock came from another detail.
In the announcement photo, Verstappen is seen wearing a non-Red Bull outfit—something fans are not used to seeing. Dressed in a black blazer, trousers, and a light brown sweatshirt, Verstappen looked undeniably stylish, making it hard for fans to recognize the usually race-suited driver. Norris couldn’t contain his disbelief and commented on the post, reflecting the collective reaction of many fans: “No way????”
Fitness blogger Lisa Migliorini shared a similar sentiment, jokingly congratulating AlphaTauri for pulling off the “impossible” by seeing Max without his usual racing kit. “Max without team racing kit!!! OMG, Well done @alphatauri,” she commented.
RacingNews365 also chimed in, admitting it felt “weird” to see Verstappen outside of his official race suit. Despite this, fans seemed delighted by the 27-year-old’s fresh, fashionable look and are likely hoping this marks a new style shift for the star.
