Justin Bieber’s SKYLRK brand remains a secret, albeit not a well-kept one—at least for now.
Over the past year, Bieber has been seen wearing various pieces from SKYLRK, an enigmatic clothing line of his own design. However, SKYLRK should not be confused with Drew House, the brand he co-founded with his friend and stylist, Ryan Good. While Drew House is known for its relaxed, 1990s-inspired streetwear, SKYLRK initially appeared to focus solely on footwear.
For some time, Bieber had been spotted wearing unfamiliar sneakers, including thick slide sandals and chunky lace-up shoes. These designs fit seamlessly within his signature oversized aesthetic—once characterized by his near-exclusive preference for XXXL Balenciaga, including its large sneakers. At the same time, these shoes were unidentifiable as belonging to any established brand.
Eventually, the branding on the footwear revealed the truth: these were not from an existing label but were, in fact, part of SKYLRK. The subtle yet intentional reveal appeared to be a strategic move aimed at sparking curiosity among Bieber’s dedicated fans.
Despite the mystery surrounding SKYLRK, trademark registrations filed by Bobby Ghajar, a lawyer and partner at Cooley LLP, indicate that the brand was officially established in 2023. Notably, Cooley LLP also handled trademark matters for Hailey Bieber’s beauty brand, Rhode, suggesting a deliberate connection.
The trademark filings for SKYLRK encompass branding elements such as a geometric logo and references to various products, including “sunglasses, eyewear, apparel, and footwear.” However, while the filings list multiple product categories, they do not confirm whether the brand will expand beyond footwear. Initially, this led to speculation that SKYLRK might be limited to shoes.
Recent sightings of Bieber, however, suggest that SKYLRK’s offerings extend beyond sneakers. A source confirmed to Highsnobiety that the chunky sunglasses Bieber wore during a February trip to New York were from his SKYLRK line. This confirmation signals that SKYLRK may be evolving into a broader brand rather than focusing solely on footwear.
With Bieber’s recent preference for oversized silhouettes—surpassing even his previous years’ generously proportioned outfits—there is speculation that additional pieces from SKYLRK could already be part of his wardrobe. His expanding fashion interests now include labels like Kapital, the renowned Japanese denim brand that recently secured investment from an LVMH-backed private equity firm. However, Kapital was neither acquired by LVMH nor provided to Bieber by the conglomerate.
Given Bieber’s evolving style, it remains uncertain whether other SKYLRK pieces have already made discreet appearances in his recent outfits. However, further revelations may be imminent. Bieber has quietly added a link to SKYLRK’s Instagram page in his own Instagram bio. Despite the account remaining empty, it has already amassed over 61,000 followers, suggesting that an official launch could be on the horizon.
