The Autumn-Winter 2025-2026 Fashion Week calendar is set to be an exciting one, with new debuts, returns, and notable absences. Here’s a look at the major events you won’t want to miss.
Milan: Kicking off the Festivities
Milan Men’s Fashion Week, scheduled for January 17-20, 2025, will begin with a spectacular show by Philipp Plein. While the week promises to be filled with creative energy, some big names like Fendi, Moschino, and JW Anderson will be absent. Gucci and Dsquared2 will present mixed collections, postponing their shows to February during Women’s Fashion Week.
However, iconic labels like Prada and Zegna will maintain the momentum. Prada’s show will take place on January 19, while Zegna will close the event on January 20, solidifying its key position in Italian menswear.
Paris: A Surge of Innovation
Paris Fashion Week Homme, running from January 21-26, 2025, will feature several groundbreaking moments. Pharrell Williams, the artistic director of Louis Vuitton Homme, will kick off the event on January 21 with his fourth show. That same day, Coucou Bébé 75018, known for its provocative designs, will make its debut.
The return of Paul Smith and Egonlab, as well as Peter Copping’s debut at Lanvin, will further enrich this edition. On January 26, Simon Porte Jacquemus will close the week with an exciting show, followed by Patou, which will begin Haute Couture Fashion Week.
Haute Couture: A Show of Creativity and Boldness
From January 27, Paris will light up with Haute Couture Fashion Week. Schiaparelli will open the season, followed by Dior and Valentino. Alessandro Michele’s debut collection for Valentino on January 29 is a highly anticipated highlight for couture enthusiasts.
A surprise element will come from Kevin Germanier, who will present his first collection as a guest designer, marking a daring entry into the haute couture world.
New Visionaries at Iconic Houses
The arrival of Sarah Burton at Givenchy and Haider Ackermann at Tom Ford adds excitement to the season. Burton, previously artistic director at Alexander McQueen, is expected to bring a fresh perspective to Givenchy, while Ackermann’s vision for Tom Ford promises to redefine the brand with elegance.
Paris: The Grand Finale in March 2025
Paris Fashion Week for Women, scheduled from March 3-11, 2025, will mark the conclusion of this fashion marathon. Dries Van Noten will begin a new era under the direction of Julian Klausner, and Sarah Burton will showcase her first collection for Givenchy. These moments of creativity and renewal promise to make this season one to remember.
