The Brick, a charity supporting individuals in Wigan facing financial hardship or crisis, is making an urgent appeal for donations of men’s clothing. With the current wintry weather, the charity is struggling to meet the growing demand for men’s winter clothing.
A spokesperson for The Brick said, “The severe wet and cold weather is overwhelming our resources. Many people are arriving with wet clothes and feet, and they urgently need your help.”
Items needed include men’s trainers and boots, joggers, jeans, warm coats, jumpers, fleeces, T-shirts, socks, underwear, hats, gloves, scarves, and bags.
Donations can be made at The Brick Works, located at 4 Hodson Street, Wigan, from 9am to 5pm on weekdays. For other types of donations, individuals are encouraged to visit one of The Brick’s charity shops.
