New Balance is pushing the boundaries of its 1906R line with increasingly bold and experimental designs. The Boston-based brand is leveraging Y2K-inspired themes and metallic finishes to revitalize the silhouette, which has seen a variety of vibrant and eye-catching releases. Among the latest is the “Marsh Green” edition, which follows the popular “Polka Dot” pattern trend.
The “Marsh Green” 1906R features a striking color-blocking scheme. It combines a rich forest green base with playful polka dots in soft pink. This contrast makes the shoe a standout piece, especially as autumn approaches. This release is part of an ongoing series, following the earlier “Polka Dot” designs in black, white, and grey, as well as a recent set in royal blue and neon green.
While it is not yet clear if the “Marsh Green” is a standalone release or part of a larger collection, its unique colorway ensures it will attract attention. The new 1906R model is already available at select retailers, with an official release on NewBalance.com expected in September. The retail price for the “Marsh Green” 1906R is set at $155.
