SAN DIEGO, CA, August 26, 2024 – The Kids Fashion Week Network (KFW) is gearing up for its fourth runway show in San Diego and celebrating its fifth year supporting young entrepreneurs in Southern California. The “Rev Up the Runway” Fashion Show is set for Sunday, September 22, 2024, at the Historic San Diego Automotive Museum in Balboa Park. The event will be hosted by Tati from STAR 94.1.
Attendees can look forward to an exciting runway experience featuring 21 professional mini-models, an 11-year-old designer, a teenage DJ, a kid red carpet correspondent, and a variety of family-friendly vendors.
Aubree Russell, KFW So-Cal’s Director of Events, expressed gratitude for the community’s support. “San Diego has been incredibly supportive of KFW over the years,” said Russell. “We have enjoyed working with many wonderful people, businesses, and families in the area, and we are proud to contribute to the youth of San Diego.”
This year, KFW is partnering with the Dreams Come True Organization to fulfill a special wish for 16-year-old MacKenzie Lynn Munroe (Mac). After nearly eight years of battling a rare lung disorder called Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia, Mac’s dream is to walk the red carpet, model in a fashion show, and eventually own a fashion brand. Mac and her family will travel from Florida to attend the “Rev Up the Runway” Fashion Show, where KFW will help make two of her dreams a reality.
Tickets for the “Rev Up the Runway” Fashion Show are available on the Kids Fashion Week Network’s website. For more details, visit KFWNetwork.com.
