This new venture showcases Parker’s “bold, maximalist, creative vision,” and offers a range of stylish items including pastel-colored T-shirts, track pants, jumpers, bucket hats, striped hats, tote bags, and dress pants.
The A.P.C. x Tame Impala fashion line is designed to make a statement. Among the collection, you’ll find sunglasses, slippers, and an incredibly cosy-looking blue jacket perfect for those who want to stay warm and stand out. The collection reflects Parker’s meticulous attention to detail and his fascination with the analog, providing a seamless blend between his music and fashion. The collection is described on the A.P.C. website as offering “an aesthetic, wearable accompaniment to the sound of Tame Impala.”

Earlier this year, Sony Music Publishing made headlines by acquiring Kevin Parker’s entire existing catalogue and extending his global deal for future works. This comprehensive deal includes Parker’s work as the leader of Tame Impala, featuring albums such as Innerspeaker, Lonerism, Currents, and The Slow Rush. In a heartfelt statement, Parker expressed that the decision to pass on ownership of his songs was not taken lightly, emphasizing that his music represents “the fruit of my blood, sweat, and creativity” as a recording artist and songwriter over the years.
January saw Parker collaborating with French electronic music duo Justice on their comeback track, “One Night/All Night.” Justice members Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay praised Parker’s sense of melody, noting that he writes melodies that feel both simple and natural yet peculiar at the same time.
At this year’s Glastonbury festival, Parker joined Friday night headliner Dua Lipa on stage for renditions of Tame Impala’s “The Less I Know The Better” and her hit, “Houdini.” Parker was a main collaborator on Dua Lipa’s latest album, Radical Optimism, showcasing his versatility and continued influence in the music industry.
