Filipina actresses Heart Evangelista and Pia Wurtzbach have been named among the top performers at the recently concluded Milan Fashion Week 2025. The recognition came from Launchmetrics, a company that tracks media impact within the fashion industry, which highlighted both actresses for their significant contributions during Milan Fashion Week’s Fall-Winter 2025 season.
According to Launchmetrics data, Heart Evangelista generated an impressive Media Impact Value (MIV) that surpassed not only other Asian stars but also some notable European fashion influencers. This marks a continuation of Heart’s success, as previous data from Launchmetrics showed her topping the MIV chart at Paris Fashion Week, where she outranked Blackpink’s Jennie and Jisoo, who placed second and third respectively.
In a recent exclusive interview at the first anniversary of Filipino cosmetics brand Absidy in Makati City, Heart shared her reaction to the recognition. As the official endorser of Absidy’s lipstick line, she spoke candidly to Philstar.com, expressing humility and gratitude for the acknowledgment. “I don’t know, it’s very flattering if you’re part of a survey. At the end of the day, numbers don’t matter,” Heart said. “I’m just very blessed in the sense that everybody enjoys my feat, whether I talk or not, as long as I come up with content that’s from my heart and people are inspired. That for me is more lasting than being in the chart.”
The recognition of Heart at Milan Fashion Week also sparked media attention due to the speculated rivalry between Heart and Pia Wurtzbach. The tension surfaced when Pia, the Miss Universe 2015 winner, hired Heart’s former glam team and began attending the same fashion events that Heart frequents, fueling public interest in their relationship.
