Bollywood actor Vijay Varma, known for his bold fashion choices, continues to break boundaries and challenge traditional gender norms in the world of style. At the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai, Vijay shared his thoughts on the evolving landscape of fashion.
He emphasized how fashion is becoming more inclusive, stating, “Overall, fashion is evolving. What’s particularly interesting in the last few years is that there’s no longer a distinct divide between men’s and women’s fashion. There’s a lot of exchange happening between the two genders, and I’ve been championing that for years.”
Vijay expressed his appreciation for feminine elements in fashion, noting, “I’ve been rocking items that would typically be found in women’s wear. I enjoy the delicateness, colors, textures, and jewelry. Men embracing their feminine side in fashion is really exciting, and it’s a trend I fully support.”
At Lakme Fashion Week, Vijay was also spotted creating a custom Magnum at the Iconic Magnum Dipping Bar, an event held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
On the acting front, Vijay shared updates on his upcoming projects, including Matka King and Ul Jalool Ishq. He explained, “I’m very excited about Ul Jalool Ishq… it’s a simple, beautiful, and rich love story. I’m also wrapping up Matka King, which tells the larger-than-life tale of a man who finds a loophole in the system and capitalizes on it.”
Vijay also spoke about his continuous drive to explore new boundaries in his career: “The pursuit has always been to push boundaries and see if I can do more than what I’ve done before. It all comes down to the opportunities, and I’ve been fortunate to get great opportunities and collaborate with directors who see potential in me that I sometimes don’t see myself.”
