Denver Fashion Week (DFW) is set to return with a fresh lineup for its Spring 2025 season, bringing innovation, creativity, and new themes to the forefront. Celebrating its eighth year, DFW continues to solidify Denver’s place as a dynamic center for high fashion, avant-garde designs, and a platform for both emerging and established talent.

This year, the event will take place at The Brighton from May 10-18, with tickets for the eight runway shows now available for purchase. DFW’s Spring 2025 season promises to build on its legacy of supporting diverse designers, offering an exciting mix of new ideas and creative expressions.

As always, DFW is introducing fresh and unexpected themes for its runway shows. For the first time, the Spring season will feature two new categories: Swim & Resort Wear and Mommy & Me.

Swimwear, a long-standing staple in runway history since the 1930s, will be reimagined with elevated resort styles. The Swim & Resort Wear show, scheduled for Sunday, May 11, will kick off the season during opening weekend. Since the show falls on Mother’s Day, DFW is offering a special 2-for-1 VIP seat deal for mothers and their children, making it a unique experience for families to enjoy together.

Additionally, the Mommy & Me theme will be incorporated into the Youth show, spotlighting young talent and honoring the fashion-forward mothers who have helped shape them. This heartwarming segment will take place on Sunday, May 18, concluding the Spring season with a celebration of the deep connection between mothers and their children, all while showcasing cutting-edge, curated designs.

Returning to DFW this year is the Adaptive Show, in collaboration with Guided By Humanity, which highlights the talent of designers and models with disabilities. This inclusive show will feature adaptive designs that focus on accessibility, self-expression, and style, blending form with function.

Other returning themes include:

Sustainable (May 10): Celebrating environmentally-conscious fashion, this show continues DFW’s tradition of showcasing designers who are committed to sustainable practices and pushing the boundaries of eco-friendly design.

Streetwear & Sneakers (May 13): A high-energy showcase featuring bold streetwear and statement sneakers, capturing the evolving culture of street style and sneaker trends.

Maximalism (May 14): Returning for its second season, this show embraces the extravagant and indulgent side of fashion, celebrating bold, playful, and unapologetic style.

Society (May 15): Focused on non-conformity and subverting the mainstream, this show presents designs that challenge norms and spark important conversations.

Bridal (May 17): Featuring luxurious, high-fashion bridal collections that highlight elegance, sophistication, and modern bridal beauty.

Additionally, DFW will host its traditional model workshop in June, following the shows. The workshop, led by DFW Runway Producer Nikki Strickler, will offer insights into runway fundamentals, audition tips, and strategies for social media success in the modeling industry.

As Denver Fashion Week continues to evolve and grow, the Spring 2025 season promises to elevate the city’s fashion scene even further. With an exciting blend of new themes and returning favorites, the event is poised to be a celebration of creativity, high fashion, and boundary-pushing talent, ensuring that Denver remains a hub for the cutting-edge fashion world.
