A TikTok user named Lucy has been showcasing various outfit options for attending a wedding, but one particular dress has drawn significant criticism.
In a recent video, Lucy held up the controversial dress and pointed out, “It has a three-tiered hoop, which is probably going to make it quite hard to sit down. Let’s try it on and style it up!”
Upon wearing the dress, she quickly realized it was a “very mini dress” and questioned her audience: “How do you feel about mini dresses at a wedding?” She described the look as “very cutesy” before completing the ensemble with rose petal pink heels and heart-shaped earrings.
She then asked her followers, “Would you wear this to a wedding?”
The majority of responses were overwhelmingly against the outfit, with many commenters labeling it inappropriate for a wedding setting.
“It’s a cute dress, but too bridal,” one person commented.
Another wrote, “What is with young women wanting to outstage brides?! Have some respect for traditions!”
